In 2019, Novak Djokovic won the singles title for a fifth time after defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets. On the ladies side, Justine Henin has been the most successful, achieving five Dubai Open Titles.

In 2006, Roger Federer and Ivan Ljubičić contested the longest match in terms of time, lasting a total of 4 hours and 5 minutes.

The Dubai Tennis Championships is held at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium complex, located in the Aviation Club Tennis Centre in Dubai. It has a seating capacity of up to 5,000 and includes a 700-seat grandstand with a VIP reception and box seating as well as 50 luxury suites. The Dubai Tennis Championships, one of the highlights in the Middle Eastern tennis calendar, has a varied schedule running from the 6th February to 14th February 2021. Each day, tournaments will start at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 7:30 p.m. daily.
